Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, has attracted interest from Europe’s top clubs after a breakout season with Sunderland.

According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid have been closely tracking Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham. The 19-year-old has played a pivotal role in Sunderland’s push for the Championship play-offs and has emerged as a standout young talent in English football.
The younger brother of Jude Bellingham — now a central figure at Real Madrid — Jobe began his professional career at Birmingham City before joining Sunderland in 2023. This season marks his first as a regular starter, and his development has drawn wide attention.
Bellingham has recorded four goals and three assists this season, impressing observers with his vision, technical balance, and ability to play multiple roles in midfield. He was recently named EFL Young Player of the Year — an award Jude won back in 2019 — adding further momentum to growing interest from Premier League clubs such as Crystal Palace and Arsenal.

Marca reports that while Real Madrid are intrigued by his potential, a direct transfer remains unlikely in the short term. The club is said to be monitoring Jobe as part of a long-term development watch list, rather than considering an immediate move.
With Sunderland chasing Premier League promotion, Bellingham remains focused on the current campaign. Speaking ahead of the play-offs, he said:
“Opportunities like this don’t come around often. As the manager said, we’ll need everyone. The fans, the people who work day and night at the club — we play for all of them. That’s our responsibility.”
While comparisons to Jude are inevitable, Jobe’s trajectory appears more incremental. According to those familiar with his development, the midfielder is in no rush to make a big move. Instead, his focus is on performing consistently and supporting Sunderland’s promotion ambitions before considering any major career decisions.
